Go-Ped Super Go Quad 30 Gas Powered Mini-Kart (Red) Review

Go-Ped Super Go Quad 30 Gas Powered Mini-Kart (Red) Feature

  • High-performance mini-kart with GPL290 air-cooled 2-stroke engine
  • 2-wheel drive, 2-wheel braking system for superior turning performance
  • Heavy-duty, ultralight, aircraft-quality carbon/chromoly steel frame
  • 6-inch rubber "Go-Active" replaceable tires; maximum speed of 22 mph
  • 400-pound capacity; measures 45-1/2 x 17 x 28-1/4 inches (W x H x D)
Based on the highly successful platform of the original Go-Quad, the Go-Ped Super Go Quad 30 mini-kart gives you the extra edge on the track. Patmont Motor Werks improved the Super Go Quad 30 by abandoning the traditional one-wheel drive design in favor of a live rear axle, creating a two-wheel drive, two-wheel braking mini-kart.

The Super Go Quad 30's handlebars include a throttle, brakes, and kill switch.
Unlike all prior Go-Quad models, the Super Go Quad 30 offers 100-percent equal turning in both directions and prevents the kart from pulling in one direction while braking. This major enhancement improves the handling by leaps and bounds, giving drivers safe and absolute control while also speeding them up on the track.

The Super Go Quad 30 also includes a standard driven/centrifugal clutch set at a slightly lower gear ratio than previous models, providing for the best acceleration off the line and out of corners. To improve inside cornering, the company added a redesigned steering plate. Often referred to as Ackerman Steering, the feature makes turning more responsive than ever. And Patmont Motor Werks optimized the caster angle--the angle at which the front wheels tilt back--to 17 degrees. This reduces "pushing" to further hone the kart's turning performance.

The Super Go Quad 30's handlebars are wider, lower, and a little farther forward than the original Go-Quad, providing for a more aggressive location. They also offer a 20-degree bend for the rider's ultimate comfort, making this the easiest Go-Quad to fit in. Other features include a maximum speed of 22 miles per hour, 6-inch rubber Go-Active tires, and a full rear axle caliper brake.

About Go-Ped
Steve Patmont, his wife Hannelore, and their two sons Gabe and Tim launched Patmont Motor Werks (PMW) in 1985, building Go-Ped motorized scooters in their Pleasanton, California, garage for friends and family. Today, Patmont Motor Werks is a world leader in personal transportation, and manufactures its scooters in a much bigger garage--a state-of-the-art 70,000-square-foot production facility in Minden, Nevada. Patmont Motor Werks is constantly building new innovations in the portable transportation market. The company introduced the ESR750 pure electric line in 2003, a zero-emission transportation device for riders who want to reduce their carbon footprint. In 2005, the Patmont family introduced the patented Cantilevered Independent Dynamic Linkless Indispension (CIDLI). The simple yet revolutionary suspension system redefined the portable transportation market once again. Patmont Motor Werks remains family owned, with a dedicated extended family of employees, vendors, authorized dealers, and loyal customers. The New Super Go-Quad 30 is without doubts set to blow away any competition.Based on the highly successful platform of the original Go-Quad, the Skunk Werks set out to improve it even more by integrating what top racers have been doing to get the extra edge on the track and by making those proven modifications standard!A Live Axle Super-Go-QuadThe most important improvement in the New Super Go-Quad 30 was for PMW to leave the traditional one wheel drive design by going to a shifter cart inspired live rear axle, making the new Super Quad 30 two-wheel-drive and two-wheel-braking . Unlike all prior Go-Quad models, the Super Go-Quad 30 offers 100% of pure equal turning in both directions and puts an end to pulling towards one direction under braking. This major enhancement provides users with the most perfect handling capabilities. It gives them safe and absolute control while also achieving much faster track time. The chain driven/centrifugal clutch on the new Super Go-Quad 30 comes standard. It is set at a slightly lower gear ratio than the previous models to provide for the best acceleration off the line and out of corners.Improved front end geometry for the most superior handling performanceA newly designed steering plate has been added and allows the inside cornering wheel to turn slightly sharper than the outside wheel. Often referred to as "Ackerman Steering", this new feature produces excellent responsive turning. After extensive testing by PMW "Skunk Werks" and proven performance on the track, the caster - the angle in which the front wheels tilt s back - has also been optimized to 17 degrees to reduce "pushing" and consequently offer excellent cornering. The 2 full inch added to the length of the front axle also contribute to the Super Go-Quad 30 excellent stability and handling performance. The handlebars have been ergonomically enhanced. Wider, lower and slightly forward, they provide for a more aggressive location. They
